Privacy Policy

Rachel Pally Inc. ("we," "us," "our")
Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through rachelpally.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

  • Information you give us directly: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and payment details (collected and processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store full payment card numbers), when you place an order, contact us, or sign up for our newsletter.
  • Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and general location, collected through cookies and similar technologies when you browse the site.
  • Information from third parties: if you interact with our social media pages (Instagram, Facebook), those platforms may share limited information with us in accordance with their own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfill your orders, including shipping and customer service
  • Communicate with you about your order, questions, or custom requests
  • Send marketing emails, but only if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time
  • Improve our website, products, and customer experience
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse (including through hCaptcha on our contact form)
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential functions, such as keeping items in your cart and enabling checkout (via Shopify, our e-commerce platform)
  • Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it (via Shopify's built-in analytics)
  • Advertising and conversion tracking, through the Meta (Facebook & Instagram) pixel and the Google (Google & YouTube) pixel. These tools share certain browsing and purchase information — such as pages viewed, products added to cart, and completed orders — with Meta and Google so we can measure ad performance and, where applicable, show relevant ads. We do not sell this information for a fee, but under some state privacy laws this kind of data sharing for advertising purposes is treated as a "sale" or "share" of personal information, which is why we describe your opt-out rights below.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect site functionality like checkout.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, including:

  • Shopify, our website and e-commerce platform, which stores order and account data on secure servers
  • Payment processors, to complete transactions (card data is encrypted and handled in accordance with PCI-DSS standards)
  • Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS), to deliver your order
  • hCaptcha, to help secure our contact form (subject to hCaptcha's own privacy policy)
  • Email/marketing platform, if you've opted in to receive our newsletter
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google (Google & YouTube), for advertising and conversion tracking as described in Section 3 above

We do not sell your personal information for money. As explained in Section 3, we do share some browsing and purchase data with Meta and Google through their advertising pixels, which certain state laws classify as a "sale" or "share" of personal information even though no money changes hands. Section 5 explains how to opt out.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of our business.

5. Your Privacy Rights

California and other state residents: Depending on the volume of data we handle, you may have rights under state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws in Delaware, Florida, and other states, including the right to know what personal information we've collected, request deletion or correction of it, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for advertising purposes (see Section 3 — this covers our use of the Meta and Google advertising pixels). To opt out of this sharing, visit our Your Privacy Choices page, or email us at support@rachelpally.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line for any other privacy request (access, deletion, or correction). We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request where required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Other jurisdictions: If you are located outside California or the United States, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR. Contact us and we will do our best to honor applicable rights, including access, correction, and deletion of your information.

To exercise any privacy right, email support@rachelpally.com from the email address associated with your request. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

6. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, order and transaction records are generally kept for accounting and legal purposes — after which it is deleted or anonymized.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption (SSL/TLS) for data in transit and PCI-DSS-compliant handling of payment data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Visitors

If you are visiting from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our systems and service providers (including Shopify) are located.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here; please check back periodically.
